This package intends to reproduce those good aviation old times in
the Azores. In August 22nd 1941 SATA was formed in order to study the possibility
of creating a schedule airline in these Islands. In July 15th 1947 the dream
came true when the first aircraft made the first commercial flight
from Sant'Ana. This airfield was locatd in the north part of São
Miguel with a two grass crossed runways system. SATA used it with it's
Beechcrafts 18, DHC108 Dove , DC3 Dakota, DC6 and HS748 AVRO, and the
Portuguese Air Force used it too for sometime for it's operations.
At this time we can't reproduce any buildings or
runways with photo-realistic detail, because the few photos
available are in grey and none is with the correct angle for
textures.
We have done high depth research work with old passengers, captains
and also in SATA's historical files.
Expected Release Date, July 2003.
